Today was Day One of my Healthy Living Plan. It went well, not perfect, but well. I had hoped to do more on my first day, but looking back on my day, I realize the things I let slide today were totally minor!
Nutritionally I was on target today, GO ME! I have decided to give up coffee every OTHER day, on No Coffee Days I have a cup of tea. Today was a Coffee Day, so I had my coffee, sugar and creamer. Add to that a bowl of GrapeNuts cereal with some Organic Vanilla Soy Milk that I got for a song with a coupon last week. It all added up to 466 calories, which sounds like a lot, but really it was about right for my goals. For lunch we had Chicken Patties, Brown Rice, Country Gravy and Ginger Ale, for a total of 782 calories. My snack today consisted of 2 pickle halves (aka a whole pickle LOL) and a small 8oz bottle of Coca-Cola for a total of 110 calories. While I have not had supper yet, my daily calorie goal set by SparkPeople is 1480-1830 so I still have 122 - 472 calories for dinner.
Physical activity wise I did not do what I planned today. I had originally planned to clean off, rearrange and USE my treadmill. I did clean it off and rearrange it but I did not USE it. After all the work to rearrange it I was so worn out. It was covered with junk that Daddy Chef and I had been piling there and really there is NO excuse that it got that bad. But it took me over an hour to get it all straightened out, so when I was done I counted that as my exercise for the day and I will run/walk tomorrow.
I had also planned to do a picture of myself with a sign saying Day One, but I never got dressed today. Yes GASP! I stayed in my pjs all day just because I only had enough energy to deal with my kids fighting with each other all day and hand no energy left to get myself dressed
